Before I became a believer, I would always write many pages of year-end summary and plan for the coming year. Now in the uncertain year of 2021, I can’t plan which country I will live in. Will I start another career in a foreign country? Will I ever start a family?

I thought: Why not turn this no control “life plan” into a spiritual plan ? In the new year, I plan to bring 5 people to Christ, I plan to let 500 people hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, I plan to serve online gospel courses throughout the year, I plan to let 300 people benefit from our GLS Global Institute curriculum, I plan to read at least 3 chapters of the Bible every day, I plan to write a prayer every week, I plan to become proficient in piano playing 5 hymns……

I am strengthened by such a plan, and may God’s wisdom and strength lead my brothers and sisters for improvement every day!

Being able to participate in the Cantonese course this year is one of the most grateful things! It seems to be a response to many years of prayer, and now even though the numbers of Cantonese speakers in Guangdong is getting lower and lower, there is still a great need for Cantonese equipping courses for Cantonese people to share the gospel and truth.

For the content of the course, the teacher’s erudition, earnest , humility, the vividness of the course explanation, covering the breadth and system of the content, so that I can reflect more on my faith, but also see more room for improvement, the shock of the course is great, help myself see the importance of rational analysis, thinking, objective look at many things, see the situation and needs of the unbelieving world through history and some trends, benefit a lot, and hope to share what I have learned with more young people.

The year of Gengzi in 2020 is really a fierce year that has not been encountered in a century. Despite the pandemic, there are still many unexpected benefits: I have the opportunity to spend more time with my family, more time to read the Bible and pray for reflection. I have the opportunity to attend a Christian lampstand theology course as well.

The course “From Life Impact to Destiny in Life” helped me understand that everything I encounter in life: no matter success, failure, blessing, and tribulation, is all in God’s good will, and God uses all the experiences in our lives to fulfill His wonderful plan and destiny in our lives.

Although the epidemic has disrupted people’s lives, it cannot break God’s destiny in my life.

The curriculum of Christ Menorah School has helped us to know God more deeply, and it is the best gift God has given us during the epidemic, and we are very happy to have such a high-end class, all of which are professors with doctors, and pastors give lectures to us. I recommend it to many brothers and sisters, and Sister Song in Beijing said, “Such a high-end class is so worth learning!” Every time before class, there is an expectation that the course of Christ Menorah School is the highest enjoyment of our students.

Thank God! Pastor Abraham Chan was online in almost every class, and he accompanied us and prayed for us in almost every teacher’s lecture, remembering that he had just finished oral and dental surgery, and the anesthetic had not yet subsided, and he had a dizzy headache, and he insisted on teaching us in class, which was very touching.

The harvest of this year is that I have become a student again, and I have studied several biblical faith courses such as “Honest Worship of the Heart”, “Community Sermon”, “From Life Impact to Life Destiny”, and “Reasonable Christianity”. Under the guidance of a teacher with extensive knowledge and in-depth research, I continued to study deeply, updated a lot of sporadic understandings that only stayed on the surface, and gradually walked out of my own small, closed world, and linked to a larger, more real and powerful world – this is an incomparable smoothing and traction for me, who is rich in material life and more experienced, but still haunted in all kinds of troubles every day; It is as if you have returned to the college stage of the new believer, although you are alone and have nothing, but the simple desire and trust in God’s Word is enough to enrich and be peaceful in your heart. The harvest of the year – through learning, back to the original faith.

I would like to thank The Golden Lampstand Association (USA) for the online course. Not only did I learn about “theology and culture” and the masterpieces of some famous theologians; There are also mission courses, which have broadened my horizons and enabled me to learn a lot about the frontline of missions.

After a few months of online learning, we gradually formed a fellowship, we prayed together, encouraged each other and made progress together.

In the new year, I look forward to learning the lessons of the Golden Lampstand online and looking forward to more fellowship. And I sincerely invite more brothers, sisters and friends to join our big family.
